The Way of Holiness

Isaiah 35:1-10

For Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007

Have you ever encountered a hope so fantastic that it didn't seem possible even to conceive? This passage speaks of such a hope:
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
Then will the lame leap like dear, and the mute tongue shout for joy.
In the daily cycle of our lives we are too often blind and deaf to what our Father really intends for us. We too often live lamely here, but we will leap there.

There is a highway that goes to that place called the Way of Holiness. If we are believers, then we are already journeying down this highway. Isn't this a great picture of the direction we are already headed, and the direction in which we are to head. Sounds like a good way to go, don't you think?
